Case Watch Privacy Policy

Updated September 7, 2026

Data stored by Case Watch

Receipt numbers, nicknames, saved case statuses, notification preferences, and changes observed by Case Watch are stored in the app's local container on your device. Case Watch does not require an account and does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

USCIS status checks

When you deliberately check a case, Case Watch enters its receipt number into the official USCIS website in a temporary browser session. USCIS receives the receipt and ordinary web-request information under its own policies. Case Watch does not operate a server that receives your receipt number.

USCIS and its security providers may process your IP address, browser information, and security-check information. A temporary browser session does not prevent server-side processing. Case Watch does not bypass their security controls.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Case Watch may create a local notification after a successful user-initiated check detects a different status. Checks are not automatic or real-time.

Deletion

Stop tracking a case to delete its receipt, saved status, and locally observed changes from Case Watch. Deleting the app removes its local app container according to iOS behavior.

Case Watch does not enable cloud synchronization. Your device backups may include app data depending on Apple settings. Deleting a case does not erase USCIS records or existing device backups.

Optional support

If you send feedback, your mail provider and the developer receive your message and attachments. We use support information to investigate and respond to your request. Include only what is needed and avoid full receipt numbers. Diagnostic exports omit receipt numbers and case descriptions.

Our public information pages are hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes ordinary website requests, including network and browser information, to deliver and protect the site under its own privacy policy. These pages contain no analytics scripts, case lookup form, or receipt upload facility.

See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its processing practices.

Apple services and TestFlight

During beta testing, Apple may collect installation, session, crash, and tester-feedback information under Apple's TestFlight and privacy policies. Avoid including complete receipt numbers in screenshots or feedback.

Apple also operates App Store and device services under its own policies. Crash reports and feedback you choose to share may be available to the developer for troubleshooting.
